Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Fredericksburg, 25 Chalice Circle. “Empowering Communications: Confronting Harassment” will be held today from 1 to 3 p.m., in Sanctuary Hall. Marcia Grimsley will present skillful communication techniques for handling controlling, harassing and bullying individuals. All participants must be at least 18 years of age. Bring paper, writing tools and a firm surface to write on. $10; no credit cards. “The Art Of Memory,” an exhibit of the paintings by Mark Prieto, will be held through Feb. 25. Diagnosed in 2010 with dementia, he paints every day in an effort to ward off memory loss. He also will present “Storytelling Talk” on Jan. 21, 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free. 540/310-4001.
