(cleveland.com file photo) By Courtney Astolfi, cleveland.com firstname.lastname@example.org CLEVELAND, Ohio -- A Cleveland man died Saturday night in a hit-and-run crash on Cleveland's East Side. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as 38-year-old Robin Johnson. The crash happened about 11:20 p.m. Saturday at Quincy Avenue and East 74th Street in the Fairfax neighborhood. Johnson was walking near the intersection when he was struck by a car that took off after the crash, according to Cleveland police dispatch logs. Two 911 callers told police that the man was no longer breathing when they found him. Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police and the medical examiner's office. One caller said a maroon truck that was possibly a Ford may have been involved. Dispatch records say the vehicle took off eastbound on Quincy Avenue. Quincy Avenue remained closed until at least 1:30 a.m. Sunday between East 71st and East 79th streets as officials tended to the crash. A Cleveland police spokesman did not immediately respond to questions about the crash and vehicle involved. Police haven't announced any arrests and no charges have been filed.
